Joyce Berry
Chair of Programs and Workshops. As a graduate of many Pumphouse classes, and with her financial and accounting background, she has the knowledge and experience to bring to programming.
Sarah Gleddie
Publicity Chair. A graduate of Brock University, Sarah has worked in human resources management. Her diverse work experience in public relations assists in her role. Sarah has a passion for lifelong learning.
Carol Gray
Vice Chair and Exhibits Chair. A graduate of the University of Toronto, she worked as a corporate librarian.
Sheila Hill
Fund Raising Chair. Her experience working on film festivals and cultural exhibits in Europe and South America helps her in fund raising.
Doug Campbell
Doug retired after a career as a central buyer and sales manager with the Hudson's Bay Company in Vancouver and Toronto. In 2003, after his wife retired, they moved to Niagara On The Lake. Doug currently volunteers at Grand Niagara Golf Course. His interests include golf, photography, family history, research and reading. His visual arts interests are in sketching and watercolour and he hopes to expand to other mediums in the future.
Peggy Reel
Secretary. Peggy brings her previous 4-years' experience on the Board, as well as her interest in painting.
David Willett
Property Chair. A graduate in civil engineering from the Imperial College, London, he has all the skills needed to keep the Pumphouse property in good repair.
Michael Tkach
Treasurer. A graduate of McMaster University, Michael is currently employed with Scotia/McLeod and is also a Wealth Advisor in their Oakville office. He has his Business practice concentrated in Niagara On The Lake and the Burlington/Oakville areas. Michael is currently residing in Burlington, but he lived in Niagara On The Lake for ten years.
Irene Shankman
Irene has a BA in Fine Arts and an Honours degree in Mass Communications from York University. She worked as a journalist in Toronto until she moved to Niagara On The Lake. Living here she saw a void in continuing education in the visual arts. As a member of the Board, she has developed a lecture series for adults and students.
Ray Guy
Currently serving as Chair of the Pumphouse Board, Ray is a graduate of McMaster University and holds a diploma from the Banff School of Advanced Management. After graduation, Ray spent 31 years in the Canadian Diplomatic service in various postings abroad and in an executive position in Ottawa. On retirement, he was recruited to Niagara College as a full professor and coordinated the International Business Management Program at the College. Currently, Ray is President of the Niagara On The Lake Chamber of Commerce, Secretary of the St. Andrew's Society and is a member of the town's Committee of Adjustment. Ray has no artistic capabilities.
